end of the year after which our monthly dues will surely increase for 2008.
Legal Minute – Dave Neumann has been asked to
provide a handout for all his legal minutes so members can take them back to
their office for reference. Today’s handout was regarding the practice of
law and how it comes into play in writing addendums to contracts. Dave will
make available sample verbiage for contracts based on common situations that
realtors regularly experience in writing offers. Anyone needing verbiage
for these situations are to email them to Dave at
dneumann@citcom.net and he will make the verbiage available to everyone.
Cards and Flowers –Lisa Patty Abbey gave a report on
several members and friends. Please keep the following in mind: Steve Owen
and family, Ginger Osborne, Sharon Greene and Harlene Owen.
Guest Speaker
Craig
Whittaker and Shawn Tucker from Environmental Solutions Group spoke on air
quality testing, namely mold. The number one misconception on dealing with
mold is using Clorox to clean the area; this actually causes the mold to
release its spores when attacked by Clorox therefore spreading the mold to
more areas to grow. It’s best to mix warm water with a mild detergent and
use a sponge or cloth to wipe up the mold.
